Volunteer Report - April 2019

How is it already April?! I guess it's true what they say, "Time flies when you're having fun", and it really flies when you're having fun with great people, working together to make a difference in the world!

In the past two months, over 40 pro-lifer's have reached out, willing to give their time volunteering! These people have helped us with different administrative tasks around the office, as well as door-knocking with political candidates in several ridings across Alberta. Thank you to all of these wonderful people!

Election Volunteering

Now that the Provincial Election has been called, and is 2 weeks away today, we urgently need you help.
I'm looking for volunteers to help the week leading up to the election (April 6-12) as well as on election day. Contributing even a few hours or one evening would help to protect pre-born children. This volunteer opportunity can happen from the comfort of your own home, or on April 16 you can join a group of other volunteers at our office in Northeast Edmonton.

Intercessory Prayer Network

Over the last few months we've been able to put together an amazing group of volunteers that are part of our Intercessory Prayer Network. Every week these sweet people receive an email with prayer points, and have committed to praying for those items throughout the week.
Our office has felt greatly blessed by their commitment to pray for the various tasks, decisions and projects we are working on from one week to the next, knowing that all of the decisions and work we do is being covered in prayer.

Banquet Volunteering

Currently the wheels are in motion and planning is in full swing for our annual Benefit for Life! On Friday May 10 and Saturday May 11 we're hoping to welcome over 1000 pro-lifers to join The Wilberforce Project to protect pre-born children.
To make this amazing event a success, we'll need a lot of amazing volunteers. I'm looking for people who are willing to do everything from registration to decorating to writing thank you cards!
Sincerely,
Rachel Breukelman
